Election Day

This is a conversation Bentley and Craig had during dinner:

Bentley: What's the next holiday coming up? Is it Saturday?

Craig: Well, technically, it's tomorrow, which is Election Day.

Bentley (pronounced terribly wrong, but in a funny way): What do we do for Election Day?

Craig: That's when we get to vote for the people who run our country.

Bentley: Don't I run the country?

That's the spirit, kid.

Ha, that's awesome!!! You should try to post that on Sarah Palin's Facebook page or something, he's a perfect icon for the Tea Party movement!!! Just make sure he always remembers who's in charge - we the people. :-D

HAPPY VOTING!!!

When we were voting for the president a couple years ago, our polling place had a table for the kids to "vote." It turned into this crazy event where our kids knew exactly WHO they wanted to vote for but were confused by the ballot so it looked like we were coaching them on who to vote for. Today they are holding an election in my daughter's bedroom, I voted for Chocolate, our new stuffed dog.
