I just got a new calling at church-- I've changed from being the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society to being the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's organization. I'm pretty happy with that, except for one thing that troubles me. I will now be working in a group of 8 women. Only two of the women in the group (besides me) are NOT pregnant.
I'm not eating or drinking anything at their activities!

I thought of that when they announced your calling... you have to be pregnant to fit in that club. Who isn't pregnant? Is is just Melanie? And she's sort of out of the stage of her life.
Ha ha ha, that's hilarious! I can't wait to get the announcement in the next few months. Better get Ryder sleeping through the night now! ;0)
I'm excited that we're both in YW, it will be fun to discuss things together. Hey, we should do Personal Progress together by phone!!
Okay, so I have to tell you that my mom's YW are doing something I think is really awesome: Bringing in people (double awesome if they're women!) either from the ward or community to explain their profession, what they had to do to get there, and so on to the YW. I know they've had a PA, interior designer, were trying to find an architect, and someone who works with horses. Some of these are based on what the YW are interested in. They were only going to do this once a quarter, but the YW loved it so much they requested to have it monthly. The interior designer even offered to help mentor anyone who was interested and get them to where they have a portfolio ready for college or whatever. Hooray for a focus not completely on marriage/making babies!
