For those of you who were sad that you couldn’t be here to watch Kendra eat her first cupcake(s), here are a couple pictures to help you visualize it better… She actually had two parties, one with Grandma and Grandpa Smith, and one with our neighbors and friends from church, so that’s why the two messes are so different, and why she’s wearing different clothes.
Bentley benefits from his sister's birthday. Is it just me or does this look like a really bad goatee???
Just for comparison’s sake, I’m tossing in one of Bentley on his first birthday—I guess they look a little alike!
Ah, nothing like chocolate smeared into one's eyes to really soothe the soul...!

Second thought: Where are the pictures of you and Craig eating cupcakes? Do your kids get the messiness from you or Craig? ;0)

A couple more thoughts. First, we all laughed out loud, especially during the last picture. Second, Dad says that the last picture definitely reminds him of Mom (she often gets chocolate up her nose when eating it)! :0)
