Creativity

Some day when I write that novel, I think that rather than coming up with some wild and creative names for new things, I'm just going to use the words that websites make you type out to make sure you aren't spamming them. I just typed out the word "leptinep." TELL me that wouldn't make a great name for some trippy, sci-fi whatchamacallit!

Leptinep: Female mate to the leprechaun. Clad in a pink coat. Usually missing the six-inch beard. Always swiping those pestilent lucky charms.

That's hilarious - I always think it's fun when I almost get a real word with those things. Be sure to let me know when your best selling whatchamacallit story is in bookstores!!

Good one, Mary! I was thinking perhaps it would be a remedial test for people who have already proved basic ineptness at the high jump...?

haha! I like your definition better.

I always assumed that the people who made up those funny words/combinations of letters were creative enough to only make up words, but not quite creative enough to string an entire story or idea together... But I'm quite positive that you would do a phenomenal job with both the creativity of definitions and developed story ideas :)

(PS: Today your blog wants me to type "machabi", what could that be?!) :)
