More and more, when we drive by rolling hills filled with trees I find myself staring at all the leaves waving in the wind and I feel completely destroyed by the sheer volume of green. It nearly makes me gasp it's so lovely, and I just want to look and look and try to take it all in. It's the same feeling staring at the waves and ripples of large bodies of water, or sometimes clouds when I can see huge swaths of sky. Or even trying to take in all the windows of the skyscrapers in a big city and wondering what's behind them all and how so many people are living their ever-varied lives inside those buildings. There's just so much of everything and it's incredible to me. It's too much, but I love it.
