This is my 500th blog post!!!
I'm pretty sure the proper etiquette here is to host some sort of a giveaway, but I couldn't decide what you would even want. So I'm going to be completely lame and just say this: leave a comment (before next Sunday) and I'll enter you in the drawing and once I know who's won, I'll give the winner something I think that person will like, whether it be a gift card or a movie or something I bake... Something... I promise. If you leave a gushing comment telling me how much you love my blog, I'll enter your name in twice. No, just kidding. I'm not that desperate for compliments! Really.
Anyway, Yay for 500 blog posts. I guess anyone who knows me shouldn't be too surprised that I have so much to say, but if this would have been a homework assignment, I know I would have felt a bit daunted by it. So I'm choosing to be proud of this accomplishment, even if it has mostly just been a whole lot of fun for me!

Congrats to 500 great posts! You are half way to 1000 and what happens when you get to 1000? I don't know ... I am not sure there is any protocol when you reach certain milestones but I would love a home baked goodie anyway, ;).

This is amazing! I started a blog twice and never made it past 4 posts (total). Super impressed. Your kids are pretty lucky (is that the right word? ;) to have a record of their goings-on when they were little too. I think that's pretty neat.
Also I like recipes, if you're giving those away. ;)
Also the word verification today is "zorleuti" - I'm trying to picture exactly what that might be. :)

I definitely have been known to check back multiple times a day in hopes that you've written more. I'm sure this is partly due to my lack of employment for the last couple of months and before that a lack of employment and lack of desire to write a thesis, but it also has a lot to do with the fact that I enjoy your thoughts and your friendship =) I still worry about those fish being overfed, though...
I love reading your posts because it's like I can hear you talking in my head. That actually sounds sort of creepy now that I typed it!
YAY! I love that sometimes I forget I haven't met Ryder YET, because I get to see so many cute pictures and stories about him all the time. And the rest of you guys too, of course :)
